You being the grandson andf. grand-daughter of those heroes >a- re you going to be a cowards and aknowledge defeat?Ours is victory after the battle-the battle of redemption.We identify ourselves with those'who died for the cause of freedom. Every Mozambican is quite conscious of the essencial fact that no nation has ever freed itself from colonialism without sacrifice» imprisonment and bloodshed. Nothing is worth having in this world which is easly got.We recognise the magnitude of our task but it does not take away our courage»it simply inspire us to greater exertion. The Salazar regime is ende-" avouriQg by all means at Its command to convey to the world the false impression that the Africans in Mozambique are satisfied with the conditions prevailing in the country.There Is no truth In this statement.Africans have no channel through which they can' voice their grievances;There is no freedom of anything.No one dares to criticise the governments polocy»or to form a political party.
