Aguila claimed to have petitioned for the parcel the year prior, but that the City Attorney had not completed the grant of title and possession. The parcel was granted, subject to improvement of roads and zanjas. Parcel described as 200 varas square, situated on the river banks, contiguous on the north to the lands of Senor Alanis, on the South to the lands of Senor Gallardo, on the West to those of Antonio Reyes, and on the East to the river.
