Abstract | Feel The Force is a unique 3D online action game for iOS devices with two primary goals. One is to create strong, realistic interactions between players and the second is to turn real space into a compelling battleground. This paper first defines ‘Force,’ which is a fundamental concept of this game. The paper then addresses in detail unique interactions based on a player’s GPS location and scenarios when they are triggered. Technical elements of the whole system, including the server, databases and clients are introduced, and software algorithms for generating 3D game space are described. Feedback through playtests is emphasized and future works are listed. |
