Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of Orange, ca.1890. A paved road at center stretches from the bottom left of the image to the middle right before disappearing behind the buildings lining it to the right. The buildings themselves are two- to three-story brownstones and appear to be mostly shopfronts, although the two frontmost buildings on the left appear as though they might be homes. Across the street from them at the bottom center of the image, two people can be seen on the corner preparing to cross the street. More city can be seen in the expanse in the background, with the mountains little more than a faint swell on the horizon, although visible.
