Description
Photograph of the remains of the Casa de Don Jesus Yorba of Yorba, Santa Ana, ca.1905. A portion of the building (at right) shows remnants of a room, doorway and windows. Some of the stucco still covers the deteriorating adobe bricks. Remnants of walls and other parts of the building are scattered across the area. Shrubs and wild grass grow within the compounds of the building, showing that nature is reclaiming its land. Caption on picture file card reads: "Showing Yorba Chapel and cross in background. The adobe chapel in back of the white wooden one was built in 1859 by provision of the will of Don Bernardo Antonio Yorba and was called the Chapel of San Antonio."
