Description
Photograph of the northwest corner of Spring Street and Seventh Street, Los Angeles, ca.1906. Pedestrians cross the unpaved roads, in which striations of some kind are visible. Six stories of the Los Angeles Furniture Co. can be seen behind the smaller one-story collection of shops that stand in front of it whose legible signs read "Jackson Club" and "Moodsco's Burbank Theatre". A building sporting the sign "Hotel Hayward" and one with a sign over the window reading "Pianos" are visible in the right and left backgrounds, respectively.
