Description
Photograph of houses along Seventh Street with the Hotel Commodore in the background, ca.1930-1935. The wide paved road runs from the foreground at left into the distance at right. Two sets of streetcar tracks can be seen in the middle of the road, and at right, a streetcar can be seen. Automobiles are parked along the sides of the road on both sides, while pedestrians can be seen as well. A row of two-story homes lines the road a left. In the background at center, the large Hotel Balboa and the even large Hotel Commodore tower over the surrounding structures.
