Description
Photograph of a view of a Pasadena electric trolley car on elevated tracks over the Southern Pacific Railroad Company tracks at Alhambra Avenue, 1908. Car number 212, center, is on wooden elevated tracks that run to the left foreground of the image. To the left, behind a stretch of grass, are the railroad tracks. There is a residence behind the tracks, with what appears to be a series of sheds or feedlots and farming equipment. A series of utility poles run parallel with the elevated tracks while thin metal arches running over the tracks supporting wires that then connect to the trolley car. Addtional picture file card identifies the scene as "Parking lot of Ralph's Market, Crenshaw Boulevard and Exposition Boulevard".
