Description
Photograph of orange groves in Riverside, ca.1890. A jagged rock stands at the top of a hill in the left foreground obstructing the view of the groves below. The short, round orange trees stand in perfect rows perpendicular to the small, paved path which lies in front of them. On the left, the trees are lined up in diagonal rows. A line of taller, thicker trees separates the groves at center from the groves which stand in the background. Faint hills stand in the distance.
