Description
Photographic portrait of Spanish dancers led by Eugene Plummer and his daughter Francisco(a?), California, [s.d.]. Two men dressed in bolero outfits and two women in skirts, blouses and similarly embroidered clothes dance, arms outstretched, in the foreground while others stand and watch behind them. A string band can be seen playing to the right. The couple at center is a man with a mustache and a receding hairline, who looks straight ahead, and a woman with a round face, white blouse and large quiff of hair. The woman at left wears a darkly colored, embroidered dress while her dance partner can be seen with a mustache and full head of hair. Behind the band at right, an elderly man with a white beard raises his hat in the air.
