Description
Photograph of an aerial view of Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley, ca.1928. Two mountain ridges are visible; the nearest cuts in from the left at the center of the image, while the other covers the entire expanse of the horizon in the background. Tightly-packed city blocks can also be seen below, in the bottom third of the image, backed by the first ridge. A concentration of four skyscrapers is prominent in the center of the city.
