Description
Photograph of a portrait of Don Ygnacio Palomares, [s.d.]. Don Palomares, who was granted the northern half of the San Jose Rancho, is pictured here in bust facing straight ahead. His eyes appear to be looking off somewhere rather than straight ahead. His jacket is buttoned high on his chest, and his tie is tucked in to his button-down shirt. His hair is still full and parted on the left side. His lips are thin and narrow. The photonegative suggests that this might in fact be a touched-up photograph.
