Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission San Fernando Rey de España ruins showing the west court, taken by photographer Edward Vischer, before 1875. Only the first floor of the two-story adobe building remains intact, the structures of the upper level collapsing in various places along with the roof. To the left, a one-story annex to the main building sports several doorways and maintains its terracotta-tiled roof. Overgrown grass is visible in the foreground along with a barrel and various other debris.
