Description
Photograph showing an aerial view of the Hollywood Bowl in California on Easter Morning during the sunrise service, ca.1922-1926. At the center of the photograph, a large choir stands in flanks to form a cross which is visible from the air. Hundreds of people fill the area around the stage. A pit orchestra has seated themselves in the appropriate place in front of the choir. To the right, the tops of dozens of parked automobiles are visible on the hill. A few people trickle down from the hillside in the background.
