Description
Photographic portrait of Don and Doña Lopez, San Fernando Valley, California, [s.d.]. The Lopezes are pictured from the hips up, facing straight ahead. Don Lopez is dressed in a dark tuxedo at left. His face shows signs of age, with wrinkles around the eyes and sallow cheeks; he sports a white, well-trimmed beard and thinning salt-and-pepper hair. Doña Lopez is dressed similarly in a dark dress made of what appears to be velvet. A chain hangs from her collar to her waist, and a brooch fastens the wrap around her neck. Her hair is white and pulled back, and her face as well shows the slackness of aging. The two lock hands with each other at the level of their waists. Photoprint reads: "Senor y Senora Lopez. Jeronimo and Catalina".
