Description
Photograph of a view of Mission San Fernando Rey de Espana's courtyard, Los Angeles, ca.1930. The statue of Father Serra stands on a brick pedestal at center, pictured in profile on the move with his walking stick. A small garden is situated below the statue, its perimeter marked by low-growing hedges. A bench is situated behind to the right. Farther back, a brick fountain stands in front of the wrought-iron gate that separates the mission's portico in the background from the courtyard.
