Two men are pictured in the foreground garden, one using a watering can to the left, the other sitting on the ground, apparently constructing something. Several small, gnarled trees or bushes are growing in the left foreground, while trees are pictured in front of the tall adobe buildings of the mission in the center background. The spired bell tower can be seen above the roofs at center.
