Description
Photograph of a painting depicting the interior of the San Juan Capistrano Mission, 1889. The painting, which appears to be watercolor, shows a foyer; stairs are pictured to the left on the first floor, leading up to the second floor which is full visible behind a balustrade. A bench is visible at center on the first floor, at the end of what appears to be a corridor. A cabinet of some sort can be seen to the left. Roof beams are visible above. Handwriting along the bottom of the image reads "Padre Michael Duran. Choir--over the Entrance to present church.".
