Description
Photograph of a painting (or lithograph?) depicting the Roman Forum restored, [s.d.]. A parade is making its way through the city at center, the emperor pictured closest to the foreground, followed by a chariot and a procession of soldiers. Statues adorn the roman architecture of the forum all around them. Spectators can be seen cavorting in the streets, or on the steps of various buildings. Some are naked, particularly the children.
