Description
Photograph of a statue depicting Augustus Caesar, [s.d.]. The statue is pictured against a neutral background, depicting Augustus with a long scepter in the left hand held against his shoulder, his right hand outstretched as if pointing. He is dressed in roman armor, his cape bundled in the crook of his arm. A small child sits on a jug next to his right foot, clinging to his leg. The pedestal reads: "MVIVII ML IX X M / A N X VIII".
