Description
Photograph of horses and their owners outside of the Cornes and Slosson Stable in Monrovia, Los Angeles, 1892. Saddled horses and horses hitched to carriages stand interspersed with men in front of the gaping entrance to the two-story stables, which boast their name, as well as the moniker "Monrovia" across their front wall. What appear to be two plaques are situated on either side of the entrance. A large tree obscures much of the left side of the building, and mountains are visible in the distance to the right.
