Long rectangular roof in foreground represents shed station for projected rapid-transit line." -- typed note attached to verso. Possibly from ca. 12 January 1954.; "Unique circular design for a proposed downtown Los Angeles transportation center was executed by architectural firm of Albert C. Martin and Associates. It would contain railroad and bus facilities." -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 2 January 1960. "One of the most unusual facilities proposed for downtown Los Angeles is this enormous Transportation Center conceived by and designed by the architectural firm of Albert C.
