Description
Photograph. "One of the first major structures on that street, the five-story Marion R. Gray Building at 824 South Los Angeles, has just been purchased from its namesake by Arthur L. Gerry. Price of 32-year-old building, plus planned improvements, approximate $250,000. Oscar C. Wyatt of W. Ross Campbell Company, industrial realtor, handled the sale." -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 21 September 1958. Local businesses include W.A. Genesy & Company (infants & children's wear), A. Olodort Company (trousers and sportswear), Syd Jackman (mannequins, display equipment), Jack Smith & Company (manufacturers, distributors), Boston Shoe Company.
