Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Vermont Avenue Presbyterian Church, showing gas station, ca.1925. The two-story brick church is pictured on the corner at center, and is comprised of several sections: on its foremost corner, a tower stands, a set of wooden double-doors on its ground floor. The tower rises two stories above the main building for a total of four. To the left, a large set of stained glass windows can be seen, along with a second entrance at the far corner. To the right, a one-story section of building connects to the final section; a three-story addition perpendicular to the main building. A set of doors can also be seen on its ground floor. In the far left foreground, the top of a gas station can be seen advertising tires and motor oil. A sign for "Hardware" can also be seen to the far right next to a line of parked cars.
