Description
Photograph of a composite image showing two views of Sutter's Fort in Sacramento, ca.1900. A three-story brick building is shown at top with two cannons and three spare barrels situated in front. Horse-drawn carriages can be seen to the right just in front of a tall stone wall. At bottom, the buildings are seen from a distance, the rightmost with an elevated door to which two sets of wooden steps lead. A second, smaller building can be seen situated perpendicular to it at the left. More can be seen in the background, with the whisps of a tree visible over the roofs.
