Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the front of the Wawona Hotel in Yosemite, 1885-1895. The hotel is a large, light-colored, two-story building at center. It has a wrap-around porch and balcony, and there are large sun shades on the balcony. A massive awning covers the entryway, and above the awning are a flag pole and a sign that bears the name of the hotel. An open horse-drawn carriage is parked in front of the hotel. The hotel is reflected in a small pond in the foreground.
