Description
Photograph of homes overlooking the ocean in La Jolla, ca.1920. At left water from the ocean is visible crashing upon a flat, rock cliff. On top of the cliff at right stands a one-story rectangular building with a sloped roof and covered porch. Utility poles line the road in front of the building, while other buildings are visible behind the first and in the background on top of other hills. A sandy shore with smooth rocks visible throughout is visible in the right foreground.
