Description
Photograph of Adobe of the Alvisos of Rancho Milpitas in San Jose, 1937. The large, lightly-colored, two-story building stands at center with plants climbing the thick pillars of the porches. What appears to be the front entrance stands at center with tall, rectangular windows in the walls on both floors. A small fence lines the veranda that reaches around the entire second floor while a short, wire fence divides the grassy yard in the foreground. A smooth hill can be seen in the background on the left.
