Description
Photograph of an exterior view of an adobe in Almaden, Southwest of San Jose, [s.d.]. The lightly-colored building stands at center with the sloping, shingled roof extending over the porch in front. A small chimney protrudes from the center of the roof and a thin, curved sign hangs from the edge over the porch. Plants climb the pillars of the porch and flowers fill the yard which is protected from the road by a short, wire fence in front. The trees that surround the adobe are dead and skeletal. "Probably built in the 1860's".
