Title View of crops, showing mountains and field workers, ca.1925
Description Photograph of crops, ca.1925. The short crops wrap around wood planks in rows within wood-framed areas on either side of a thin, muddy path on the right. Water sits in shallow gutters in the area on the right while clay-like mud is all that remains between the rows of plants on the left. Two mean work on the crops on the right near the water just behind them. The water washes up on the bank on the right making the path shimmer with moisture at its back end. Cliffs line the far bank with thin palm trees and small, wooden structures at the top. Several automobiles can be seen at the top of the cliff on the left with a lightly-colored pipe extending from just in front of them to the water below.
