Description
Photograph of roses at the Sterling residence in Redlands, ca.1900. A sun dial stands at the bottom of a tall staircase at center with short plants to either side of it. Wide, spiny trees stand over the sides of the staircase which leads to a wall of roses. A lightly-colored statue depicting a woman with no arms stand on a column at the center of the wall of roses. House tops can be seen in the background above the plants.
