Description
Photograph of the front of Casa Loma Hotel, looking west, Redlands, California, ca.1900. A row of short palm trees line the left side of the sidewalk which extends from the left foreground into the distance. A wall of thick, flowering plants stands in the foreground on the right with the Hotel's structures behind it. Its raised porch creates a shaded, arched entrance below it with plants decorating its sides. The tile roof of Wyatt Opera House is visible above the palm frond. Both structures were located on the corner of Orange Street and Colton Avenue: The hotel stood on the north-east corner and the opera house was on the north-west corner. Electrical poles stand overhead on the left.
