Description
Photograph of an exterior view of San Francisco's Call Building at night, ca.1900. The tall skyscraper is at center and is lit up by a series of small lights on its edges. The building is rectangular in shape and has an elaborate domed roof. There are several smaller buildings visible around it, and the street in front is bathed in light. A stained glass window and a picture of a knight in the foreground at right identify a restaurant. A horse-drawn carriage is visible at left.; Legible signs include, from left to right: "J. J. Gildea & Co. Exclusive Fine Clothing", "Old Louvre", "Welcome Knights", and "Pabst Hofbra[u] Milwaukee Family Entrance Restaurant Family".
