Description
Photograph of a wave crashing on San Diego Beach, ca.1900. A broken, wooden fence stands in the foreground with the sandy beach behind it. A clump of what appears to be sea weed sits on the smooth sand with a wall of dark water surging towards it. A light mist outlines the wave as it folds over itself. The water is serene in the background where hills stand on the right.
