Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the Geronimo Lopez stage station and ranch adobe, ca.1885. The one and a half-story adobe is shown just to the right of center, a man standing on its porch. Two bare trees frame the steps to the porch, a length of dilapidated picket fence visible in front of them. The roof of the adobe is shingled, and doors can be seen at regular intervals on each visible wall of the edifice. At the time the photograph was taken, the adobe was being used as a toll and stage station. It was built by Valentino Lopez.
