Description
Photograph of road construction on Third Street west of Figueroa Street, [s.d.]. In the foreground, a band of paved street extends from left to right across the image. Beyond, a wide road has been excavated and is covered with mounts of dirt that ascend up a gentle slope into the distance. In the left foreground, a saw horse reads "Street Closed. L.A. paving Co., Inc.". Farther in, houses line the street, with one on the left reading "Marion Hotel. Free parking. Rooms $3 and up".
