Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of the San Fernando Valley looking north, Los Angeles, 1909. The town pours out from the foot of the hill which can be seen in the foreground. The houses seem relatively far-spaced from one another, although the town also seems separated by a number of manmade tree lines. A wide road runs through the center of the town, extending toward the mountains, which can be seen in the background.
