Photograph of a view of a commercial street in Tujunga, showing Sam Seelig's grocery and the Tujunga Drug Company, [s.d.]. A row of one- and two-story brick commercial buildings runs through the centerground of the image, behind a paved sidewalk. The leftmost building bears a sign reading "Sam Seelig Co. Store No. 199. 'Cash is King'. California's leading grocer"; produce and other grocery items are visible inside the store. Two buildings to the right sits a two-story building bearing a sign reading "Tujunga Dru[g] Co. Drugs. Lunches. Candy. Cigars. Ice Cream. Sodas". Three automobiles are parked in the unpaved area in front of the stores.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
