Description
Photograph of a view of Wilshire Boulevard, looking west from a point fifty feed east of Bixel Street, March 2, 1931. Narrow and unpaved Wilshire is at center and heads away from the viewer. Rows of early model automobiles are parked along the curbs that line the road. Several large buildings are visible in the distance at right, and a two story building can be seen behind trees at left. Utility poles run along both sides of the road. This photograph was taken before Wilshire was widened and paved.
