Description
Photograph of an aerial map of the San Fernando Valley, 1954. The city is shown from an extreme altitude, making the grids of the city blocks more apparent and blurring much detail in the way of individual buildings. Several courses of water can be seen flowing down out of the mountains that surround the city, cutting from one side to the other. A label reading "Photomap" is pictured in the upper right corner and includes a compass rose.
