Description
Photograph of flooded street, showing automobiles parked along the sides of the road, [s.d.]. In the foreground at center, a wide street can be seen extending into the extreme background. A layer of water covers the road. To the far left, a row of small buildings can be seen along the street. Along the curb beside the buildings, numerous automobiles are parked. To the immediate right, a small fire hydrant sits beside the road. To the far right, several automobiles are visible in an open lot beside a large building. In the extreme background at center, a large three-story building with conical rooftops can be seen.

California Historical Society Collection, 1860-1960
Description
The California Historical Society Collection is incomparable for the documentary picture it provides of the growth of Southern California, particularly the development of the Los Angeles region, between 1860 and 1960. The collection contains more than 25,000 photographs. The full archive was placed on long-term deposit at USC in 1990 and includes the Title Insurance and Trust Company Collection, also known as TICOR, and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce Collection.
