Description
Photograph of a view of San Fernando Road in Burbank, ca.1905. A riderless horse-drawn carriage is parked outside a the small Knoppes Real Estate building to the far right. Farther left, a two-story brick building for Sylvester Goodenow Hardware and Wood's Economy Store stands, beyond which a one-story shop front for the Burbank Department Store can be seen, along with a two-story building which features a connected spired tower. Sign on the department store reads: "A. O. Kendall Prop.". The road in the foreground appears to be paved, yet dirty.
