Description
Photograph of Macy Street storm drain construction, [s.d]. In the foreground at center, a series of wooden beams can be seen bridging a wide trench. A series of uneven vertical planks can also be seen serving as a simple fence on both sides of the trench. Above the trench at center, a crane can be seen lowering a large section of pipe into the trench. A man is visible to the left near the crane holding a large pole in his hands and touching the pipe cross section. To the right of the trench, several men can be seen standing and watching. Behind the men, two mall buildings can be seen. Legible sign on one building reads: "Pozzo Constru[ctions ?]". In the extreme background, an automobile can be seen along a series of utility poles and trees. Photo print reads "Union Terminal Storm Drain, showing 108-inch pipe used in construction".
