Description
Photograph of "Innocence" a painting by Nicolas Lancret, depicting two young women being seranaded by a minstrel, [s.d.]. The scene is framed by a circular edge, with the minstrel standing and playing lute near to center. Farther left, the two women relax on the ground, clothed in gowns that appear to be made of satin, a square column visible behind them. In the right distance, the woods are visible after a small clearing.
