Description
Photograph of the painting "Night" by Hans Zatzka, depicting cherubs and a woman by the lakeside, [s.d.]. The woman stands at center, shown in full figure, her diaphanous dress swirling around her. To the right, two cupids glide by the foliage at the lake's edge toward a third, which sleeps on a rock in the left foreground. Above, a bat can be seen flying, the moon visible just to the left of it with lake visible beneath. Daubs of light near the cherubs suggest fireflies or embers.
