Description
Photograph of the painting "Oriental Dancing Girl" by Nathaldi Siehel, depicting a western woman dressed in Japanese robes, [s.d.]. The woman stands at center, her legs bound closely together by the tight skirt of the Japanese robe, a sash tied at the waist. Farther up, a sliver of her bust is bare, along with her arms, which she raises above her head, bending the left one behind her neck so that her hand is obscured. Bangles can be seen on her right wrist, while hoop earrings are evident hanging from her ears. Her hair is dark and curly and blends with the background. Her eye makeup is heavy. Below her, a patterned rug is just barely evident.
