Description
Photograph of the painting "The Drummer" by Salles-Wagner, depicting an infant posed at a drum, [s.d.]. The infant is shown at center, mostly bare but half-swaddled in a blanket and with a kerchief tied around its head. The drum is positioned to the left, just behind the baby, who raises a pair of drumsticks into the air, one of them apparently broken. The material under the baby appears to be embroidered and seems soft, as though stuffed.
