Description
Photograph of two panoramic landscape paintings by DeTreville, [s.d.]. At the top, the first image shows a hill in the foreground, sloping down from the right to a small valley at left. A tree surrounded with shrubs can be seen just at its summit, casting shadow over much of the ground in front of it. Harder-edged mountains can also be seen in the right distance, while a small hill leads across the horizon to the two smaller hills at left that make the other edge of the valley.; The lower image shows a similar valley with its furrow leading down the center toward the viewer. It also has a tree surrounded by shrubs, but this tree is positioned on the hill to the left, while other tall shrubbery can be seen on the hills to the right, casting deep shadows. Behind these shrubs, a long sliver of lightly-colored hill edges along the horizon, coming close to the edge of thick clouds. A collection of rounded rocks are visible in the furrow of the valley farther back.
