Description
Photograph of a statue depicting Grecian wrestlers, [s.d.]. Two men are rendered nude, locked in a wrestling competition, one overtop the other. The man on top has drawn his right arm back and up, bending it at the elbow, while placing his other, outstretched arm to the side of the lower man's right shoulder, hiding it from view. The lower man has pinned his opponent's left leg with his own, although he is prostrate on his hands and knees. The statue appears to be mounted on a pedestal of some kind. The upper man is pictured in profile, looking down. The lower man looks towards the camera.
