Description
Photograph of a birdseye view of the proposed site for Union Station in Los Angeles, August 27, 1935. The site for the station is at center and is a large dirt lot. The land has been flattened and graded in many areas, and a large mechanical crane can be seen in the middle of the land. Large streets surround the lot, and many closely spaced buildings are visible. A tall building can be seen in the distance at left. In the background, several low hills covered with trees can be seen.
